E71T-1

Low hydrogen stick electrodes(ie E7018, E7028) are usully kept in an oven and maintained at 250°F min.

E71T-1 doesn't need to be kept in an oven, but stored in a dry place and stay in the plastic bag that it came in....unless, you are trying to use it on a Seismic Designed structure, then there are atmospheric exposure limitations and wire storage requirements that are imposed.

Which temps you should be checking out in your D1.1, D1.8, and AISC Construction Manual and Seismic Supplement.

Have a Great Day,  Brent
