HAHAHAHAHHAHAAA:grin:   I believe you Sourdough....no pics please.  My Father in Law is from Perth, I will have to ask him about that one.

Far out.  Ask her about the beach and the town.  To hear him describe it I think he is stone cold nuts for selling his house there.  He was a five minute walk from the waves...I seen the pics it was absolutely beautiful.

I will. She's out cold with the flu.....at her house!

This is an old one - but good!  Be careful when a girl from Australia asks you to "knock her up".  It doesn't mean what it does in the USA!

Well don't leave us hanging Joe, inquiring minds want to know! Regards, Allan

It just means call her.

Schucks Joe, I was expecting something a wee bit different for an explanation, definitely got me on that one. Regards and thanks, Allan

I learned that, and others, on a State Department protocol class once when I was in Austraielia on official business.

Interesting Joe, I'm sure you'd have to probably kill me if you told me more so I'll leave it at that. Thanks and regards, Allan

No! It was nothing sinister.  Although my duties were not for public release, it was interesting that the class was given my an "Austraielan-Maite", who in my mind, shouldn't have been made aware of my name and presence.

Austraielia   lmao lmao
Parent - - By Tommyjoking (****) Date 01-17-2012 00:27
Yea ....Mr. Kane please correct that spelling "Austraielia", I have heard it said numerous times that we cannot tolerate misspelling and punctuation errors on this forum.  Thank you for your understanding.
Parent - By jwright650 (*****) Date 01-17-2012 11:47
....I knew that was coming the moment I read Joe's post.
Parent - - By Joseph P. Kane (****) Date 01-17-2012 15:38
No!  The spelling is an attempt to place emphasis on the accentuation and phonics found in spoken Australian English.

Of course you knew that!  I also understand the dig!   I am unrepentant!

A friend once picked up an Australian girl at a bar, and as they were going back to his hotel room she told him " I've got me block in...you'll have to put it in me dumper."  He never told me if he put it in her dumper or not...

hopefully it didn't smell like hot garbage.
Parent - - By devo (***) Date 01-19-2012 13:51
Holy S*it Sourdough...I've heard of setting the bar low, but when you have to dig a hole to set the bar in, do you call the utility company first?
Parent - By Sourdough (****) Date 01-19-2012 17:04
Well.........I guess.
Parent - - By Sourdough (****) Date 01-18-2012 07:08
sorry....................mispelling is mispelled
