??? sound path x sin of the angle = surface distance sound path x cos of the angle = depth depth x tan of the angle = surface distance surface distance / sin of the angle = sound path depth / cos of the angle = sound path surface distance / tan of the angle = depth
I use these to do the basic calcs and reverse check them.
Don't get too dependant on the trig functions in your machine....it is easy to forget how to figure everything off the Soundpath, if you aren't careful.
