Is this what you guys mean by "Welding over the hole"?

Here's a few pics of my latest gig. Kind of a mess actually. Typical as I was told I would be supplied a fitter. Great guys I'm working with but fitters they are not and I am having to go it and make miracles happen and fix things so they will actually work. Still make the same per hour but the contractor has a amount that they would like to keep it at for paying me so I'm trying to get it done in that amount of time.....but my non fitting fitter kinda hinders me as I have to fit and we have not even started the mechanical room yet! Anyhow, on to the pics, first up, welding over the hole, not like what you pipeliners are used to!!! Last pic is what I do at 5am in the morning before the job! Living in a hotel and have to do something so I swim a mile and a half in the morning from 5-6 a.m. then off to the jobsite to climb ladders and hand pipe all day!!!

Good for You, IF I could swim a mile and a half, I would need to go back to bed. :sad:

Third image, #31 reminds me of that WongMart xpansion I did last year in Montana.
I used to like my mile swim after work. 72 endos at the pool would get all the jobsite crusties out of my pores and lungs.

I started back at the pool about a month and a half ago. Swam from 7-12th grades year round for school and clubs. Only form of working out that I like. I can tell a difference in just a month. Doing things I have not done in awhile like the one leg raise from a kneeling position on pipe while continuing the bead. Thought I would be super tired all day on the job but actually feel better! When I get back to the hotel though, that's a different story! I'll fall asleep by 6 and miss dinner!
