Here's a pic of a good anti car jacking device...
(not recommended for those who suffer from extreme road rage)

That's better than the panic call to 911, which is a moot point, because your car is already gone.

Your device solves it with one bang.........nice! Awesome, in fact!!

Looks like my Springfield XD that I carry 24/7.

I have a similar set up for when I'm traveling, however I don't need a lock box cause it goes with me everytime I get out of the truck.

Mine sits on the armrest to the right of me or just slipped into the slot between the driver seat and the center section. Looks like I'd be bangin' my knees off that rig! You make that yourself?

Nope, that one actually is not mine, just a pic I got in an email.
I keep mine like you do, by the seat belt latch.
Mine is a side by side double barrel derringer loaded with 410 shotgun shells.
I've only had to pull it once, so far.
Just the sight of those big barrels made the guy run fast and far...

Tim,
I have a single barrel derringer 410/45LC that I do the same with. I use these shells.

No doubt about the view from the wrong end of these things. It is like looking into a train tunnel! LOL

Sounds like a sweet litttle gun! I got an XD45, thirteen in the mag and 5" barrel will make anybody think twice about getting closer.

Looks like a great place to put it....hmmmmm.  Where my radio was, I am building a lock box for mine, just for that going in the store stuff.

You need to carry one of these welding rods Sourdough!! If the po-po asks all you have to say is it's for welding...and, it is!!

Or, carry a helper who can carry! Manditory! Or do they take the ability to have an armed friend in the vicinity away, too?

If it's a concealed, it has nothing to do with me. He can ride shotgun and have a 50 cal in a shoulder holster, as long as he doesn't lay it on the seat, Then it's a different story. Especially if I do what I usually do when I get pulled over; act like I am deaf.

Hahaha!!! Yeah, the small rod is a 1/4" and that's a 4-1/2" grinding wheel!!
