Student Appreciation Night, Awards, and Colorado Section 039 Board Elections will be held.
What: Welding & Joining Management Group - Forensic Experts - Metals Testing
Please join us for a Talk-n-Tour at WJMG a Forensic & Metals Testing Lab with Dr Jesse Grantham PhD PE CWI ASNT Level III. His subject will be “Oh, the places you'll go when you know welding”. Dr. Grantham started his vocation as a roustabout in his grandfather’s welding & radiator repair shop (with a dirt floor). Jesse went to South Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico offshore, as a welder and roustabout in Conoco’s West Delta Block 41. A routine work-week was 98 hours. Now, 50 years later, Dr. Grantham knows quite a bit about welding and metals testing. His presentation will include knowing the 5 primary elements of every weldment.
