the client has rejected many of our qc inspectors, the reason given was their resume have no inspection experience in t-k-y tubular connections.
i don't understand, what important role that differs from a normal inspection when inspecting a t-k-y connections by a cwi. what's the big deal?

If it's for off shore application, I can understand why. Subsequent inspection to API RP2X is a pain in the rear. If the visual inspector doesn't record the right details, they cannot make the required mockups for inspection. Assuming this is offshore, advertise for CWI's CSWIP's with RP2X experience as well. That would end your problem.
