What is the approximate shelf life of Keller's etch?

I have read that it is time sensitive but so far have no guidance on how long a mix will last.

Our hope is to mix up a good sized batch and then keep it on hand to use as needed.

Or, does it need to be made fresh for each use? Even a couple hours time would be good perhaps though.

Iwould fill up a 20 oz container and no more, most etchants lose its bang after a while.

One supplier says they have a 24 month shelf life.  But that may only apply to an unopened sealed container.

Call a met lab and see how they handle it?  I don't see anything in the listing that makes me think it'd have a shelf life per se. Usually that's an issue with stuff that is reactive like H2O2.
