For all those whose candidate of choice looses, and you think this country is going to ruin!!!!!!!
Just where are you going to move to?
China??? (ever been there, I have, it sux)

No matter who is the figure head is (President!), life will go on.
We will all pay too much in taxes, national debt will go up (we have not been truly balanced since my hero Richard Nixon because of this), crime will be a problem, and life will go on.

No Matter who wins...
The United States of America will always be my home and The Greatest Nation on the planet earth

I have lived in 4 foreign countries, been around the world more than once (on my own money, not ever in the military), and this is the only place on Earth I do and will ever own property, claim as home and hope to die on it's soil!
Sorry, but if you really have a problem with the way this country is run then,
1) vote,
2) If that aint enough, then run for elected office (win of course) and then you have the opportunity to make changes.

I had to blow off steam, cuz I just got "escorted" out of a bar over this very same political discussion. Some people just can't keep it cerebral...... They wanna get physical when their substandard 8th grade intellect fails them.
At least, the forum bouncer in here wont take sides and will be nice to me just cuz I ofended some wannabe hippie puke.
Twas an unexpectedly scary Halloween...
Next time, I'll just lean on the the bar (STFU!) and not engage the Trolls!

I think I read this on here a long time ago. "Never argue with stupid people, they drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience".

Well said John!

At this point, I couldn't give a rats ass who wins... I've got higher priorities to work on... Like getting better physically to see if I can help rebuild some of the devastation Sandy has left in her wake!!! What a mess!!! lots of work going to be coming to the tri-state soon and will continue for quite some time so I need to get ready for it.

The heck with politics at this point... An entire coastal region has been decimated in a manner of hours of what took years to build in the first place... That's the power of nature and it's mad as hell because we as a planet of humans have taken for granted that we could do as we please without considering the consequences of doing so.

THERE ARE SOME AMERICANS THAT NEED OUR HELP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! LET'S STOP THIS BACK AND FORTH AND CONCENTRATE ON HOW WE ARE GOING TO HELP OUR FELLOW AMERICANS!!! END OF RANT!!!

Respectfully,
Henry

True'er words were never spoken John. We have flopped back and forth from one extreme to another form the beginning because as the saying goes "you can't please all the people all the time" and it can not be any other way.

We can never truely be free by any definition as long when ones freedom begins another’s is lost. There really is no happy middle ground we just have to continue to go back and forth and try to hold it together as long as we can.

If you don't like whos in charge right now, do all that you can to change it and rest assured it will change and then you may want to reconsider your options again.

It will never be perfect because we can't even define perfect.

Well let me say this if the current is re-elected you won't have to worry about voting ever again because that priveledge with many more will be a thing of the past everybody will start saying "I remember when I could vote, choose my job and so on "
