any one have the dims for a 6g pipe test?
need the dims where to make the cuts for bend test only and bend test with tensils on 6 in pipe. sched 40 1/4 wall 1/16 gap on set up

From ASME Section IX:
Take the bends from 1:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30 (with 12 oclock being the top of the test coupon in the booth)
Take tensiles from 12 and 6 oclock

thanks for the reply i am ordering a asme book
what does passing a 6 in.pipe test schedual 40 in the 6 g position
qualify one for diam. and thickness

2 times the base metal thickness for most processes and 2-7/8" dia and above.
