B&B pipe stands/jacks

I dunno I have always used Sumner for the most part when I needed pipe jack.. My welding supply switched off of them because they kept getting bent up messed up jacks (????). Now they carry B&B only. The blackjack brand looks pretty good, thinking on trying them out from someone else.

Anybody got some miles on B&B (especially folding ones)....good or bad experience?.....they are charging more for them then they used to for the Sumners. :mad:

I need to get some more and I don't want to throw the cash on crap!

Check out industrialladder.com they have the best price on sumner fold-a-jacks i've seen, if want to go the online route, they have branch warehouses. It looks like the closest branch might be Dallas/Ft.Worth. Fold-a-jack #781300 $74.77 as of 26MAR2013.

Are B&B the red pipe jacks? I have never paid attention to the name. I use the same as Shad.

Yea they are red or black/red. So those blackjacks hold up and still work right after some use eh? They look good I just have not laid my hands on one...nobody around here has em.

I have had 6 since 2005 no paint left but they still work. They dont stand a chance against a fork lift though

I've got several of the folding ones, that so far I have been pleased with. They are over 4 years old.

The Red Stands that you used at My house are B&B. They have survivied Jobsites far and wide and have been used by a lot of guys. I bought them in 09 on the Brady job and they still work good.

I appreciate it, I just bought a couple (B&B) yesterday to try out from you know who. They got a thicker washer with a bigger hole then the Sumners which is good. By all accounts of what I may be doing this year ...if they hold up to that I won't have a problem buying more. I still need at least two more soon, I may buy some blackjacks and run em against each other.
