I don't know how many of you look at the blogs and I know not all of you are part of the OTB&G so I thought I would say something here.

The loss of the 19 fire fighters here has been devastating.  I have family fighting this fire and was greatly relieved they were not part of this crew.  Regardless, the loss of such a large number of community protectors all at one time is heart rending.

If you are inclined to do so, please go to  http://www.100club.org/web/100Club  and read more and see what can be done.  I do know that the owner of one of the other welding shops here in town lost a son in this.  It is truly part of the welding family that is hurting with so many others.

Take a look at my blog as well.  Says a little more, but what more needs to be said...

National Fallen Firefighters Foundation should or will be there to help them.  It's a national organization I and all firefighters are familiar with now and being made more aware of recently and is associated with the National Firefighter's Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland.  I realized that last night thinking about sad it is so many kids without another parent now and the loss for so many families at once is heartbreaking for sure it affects all the brotherhood of firefighters worldwide as well.  You can pass this information along to those you know affected if they haven't heard from NFFF yet.  I'm going to pass your link along to many others in the firefighter family nationwide.  Thanks Brent.

Thanks Glen.  I will get that to some people who will know what to do with it to it's fullest potential.

Have a Great Day,  Brent
