Hello everybody:
I am a welding engineer working in a spanish Technological Center.
We are develop a project about Mig-Brazing welding in automotive industrie. We have a problem with spatter and we dont´n what can we do. We increase the arc lenght in order to avoid spatter from shortcircuit, but now we get globulized transfer and spatter like result. We increase the dynamic characteristic of machine, but without any good response. We obtain any very good welds but it is impossible to repeat the result. We think that we have wire feeder problems.
In order to control the travel speed we use a robot. But the torch and the linner are for manual welding.

Hi Welcome to the forum,
If you could post your electrical/welding parameters, "size of electrode", grade of material, thicknesses, joint configuration, ect...maybe someone will notice if something stands out as your problem that could be causing the excessive spatter.
