Hi there here is a new question!

How can we define a gap-o-let (Gap-o-let is a spacer for the weldolet) either as a consumable or as a fitting element?

Since a Gap-o-Let is not consumed, I don't see how it could be considered consumable.

I'm familiar with a "gap-a-let" which is a contraction ring for socket welds. It maintains the 1/16" gap. Because of the shape, spring tension holds the ring tight. It is not a consumable since it is nowhere the weld. Not sure if you could call it a fitting element.
