I have an oppurtunity to buy a Miller 330ab tig welder. I am new to tig welding and wondering if this model is known to be a good all around unit and if there is anything to watch for before I buy it ?
Thanks for any input.

Your callsign caught my eye. Although I can not answer your question, try these folks:

Hey kc8, the 330abp is an oldy but goody. Make sure you get a demo before buying. Chances are if it works now it will work for a long time to come especially if your going to use it for part time work. It has a great arc for SMAW and GTAW on the first two taps. But max tap is crappy on AC. I also have one for sale at this time- Ted.
