That's a good one for the Metallurgy section for sure.:cool: Even if there's ceramics and glass included in the diagram... Now what's the intent besides sharing this with us regarding this Kent? I mean was there anything in particular this was associated with when you came across this. I ask this because I have quite a few Material Sciences book @ home that have the same chart and along with the chart there are some more detailed descriptions with some applicable scenario's where this sort of chart will be useful... So please enlighten us with more details dude! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Respectfully,
Henry

Kent,

While I have seen similar, I do appreciate your putting here for others to see and for me to be able to put in my electronic files.

To be able to see some of the overlapping strengths of the various materials used in building are very interesting and it doesn't take even the simpler minded, me, long to figure out the basics of the various strength 'bubbles' and see how strong one material is when compared to another.

Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

He Is In Control, Have a Great Day, Hope everyone had a great Christmas, Brent

Nice. I've not seen this before.

Thanks for sharing.

Do you have the source available? I would like to download the original to maintain the fidelity.

Best regards - Al

Perfect. Thanks for the link. It puts some perspective on the subject and the relationship between several families of base metals.

Best regards - Al
