i know this is a welding forum, but i have a peerless electric motor its 110v or 220v but i cant find any info on this motor and peerless isnt any help either the serial number is 322009 any info would help it will run both but i dont know if its set up for 110 or 220 dont wanna fry the house again!!! wife got real mad last time. TY in advance SR

Capacitor start? / run?
Before you burn your house down take it to motor repair shop, I am sure they can tell you at a glance.

Generally speaking if its a 110 VAC there will be only 1 load line (black), a neutral (common)(white) line and a frame ground (green) where as most 220's have 2 load lines Black & White and a ground.
That should be enough information to get you a divorce.

Usually there is a plate somewhere that will tell you how to wire the motor for whatever it can do. Sometimes it's inside the plate that covers the cavity that the wires go into.
