Peak Oil field, decent place, pays well
Udelhoven, never worked for em
I work for Alaska Interstae Construction, http://www.aicllc.com
The slope pays well, but keep it mind its cold and in the winter there is that 3 month period when the sun doesnt even come up. Those 2 sites I gave you are prolly the ones that are most likley hiring.
The average rotation is 2weeks on, 2 off. Busy times 6 on/2 off is somtimes common.
You must be good, and you will be given "make or break" test before bieng hired. While I worked on the slope I would bring home around 80K a year, keep in mind im only working 6 months out of the year as well .....not bad for a 21 yr old
Keep in mind Prudohe bay is a aging field, not a whole lot of discovery work going on, and personaly I see the gas pipeline project as a pipe dream.... Im also doubtful of ANWR ever bieng opened as well.
Good Luck
