JOB DESCRIPTION:

Inspects and tests welded joints of work in progress and of completed units for visible defects in order to conform to layouts, blueprints, and customer specifications.

Materials: Aluminum, Stainless Steel
Wall thicknesses: 0.018 – 0.049
Weld types: Fillet/Butt Welds (tube to tube, tube to sheet, sheet to sheet)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CWI certification from AWS or equivalent required.
Complete understanding of AWS D17.1, AWS QC1 and AWS Welding Symbols and Inspection Criteria.
Employees must have positive attitudes, great attendance and excellent eye-hand coordination with solid mechanical skills
