I am attempting to find out what tests and procedures I would need to do in order to qualify the brazing of 4 wrapped 16 gauge copper wires to a solid copper 1/16 thick 3/16 wide and 3/4 inch long bar. This is for the building of a large electric motor. I have the brazing B2.2 AWS code book but am not sure if the Workmanship test is the right qualification type to follow. This particular joint does not seem to fall under any of the listed "typical workmanship test brazements." I need to create a BPS and a BPQR to qualify an idividual. Any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if more info would be helpful.
