Give us a clue, what customer requirements are imposed?
Al
As Al said, we need more info. Where is the requirement for hardness control coming from? Customer specification? NACE?
dear all,
after welding vickers hardness value is base metal 226-295 in weldmetal 228-241 and in haz 244-295, according to material specifications these values are acceptable or not.please help me in the matter.
Ali,
What does the Customer specify for weld metal and HAZ hardness? I suspect he didn't specify. If that's the case, Acceptable.
Tyrone
Dear Tyron,
Thank you for sharing information,I didn't find anything from a customer that's why I'm confused if you have any authentic information in the reference of specific code or standard this will be helpful to solve the issue.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
This is going to sound shocking to some, but the technical requirements for a job are specified by the customer based on the laws and regulations that apply to the item and the customer's additional technical requirements. If one does not know the laws and regulations that would apply, or have any input from the customer, then there is no basis for any response.
