There have been several discussions on the subject of learning how to write a WPS. In a similar vein there have been discussions on the subject of the new Part B examination and learning how to work through the problems. There is a solution being offered by the Connecticut Section AWS.
The Connecticut Section AWS is offering a 3-day seminar, The Atlas of Welding Procedure Specifications, on the subject of developing WPSs. The training is applicable to the new Part B examination. This course should be of interest to any individual that is tasked with developing welding procedure specifications or CWIs and SCWIs that would like to learn more about the subject.
This seminar is being offered in March 5, 6, and 7th, 2018. More information on the seminar can be obtained by contacting:
