Need a little help. going over some WPS's and PQR's noticing the both are signed. Each WPS has 2 different people signing off on them but the dates that used when they signed off, some are very different. ex. WPS#000 - 1 signature signed and dated 10-27-2005 the 2nd is signed and dated 7-16-2016 (I believe this one is when he started, because each WPS he found has this date). Qualified to AMSE Sec IX
Is this an issue, and if so is there any suggestion on the fix?

Sir i am confused about piping question, i want to prepare WPS but i am not able to get my ans. please help me out.
i am execute different thiknes rang from 1.5" to 18", i want to know what quantity of WPS prepare?
You didn't specify a welding/fabrication standard, but if you are welding pipe in accordance with ASME, you start with the construction code, i.e., Section VIII, B31.1, B31.3, etc. The construction code will direct you to ASME Section IX for qualification, but you have to review the construction code to determine if CVN testing and whether post weld heat treatment is required for the thickness you are welding.
Best regards - Al
Good morning all,
please tell me is there any minimum qualification required to wire and qualify the WPS, PQR and also WPQ? or anyone can write the procedure which meets the all requirements in the ASME, AWS code?
thanks,

6.1.4.1 (3) of the AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code - Steel, states “an individual who, by training or experience, or both, in metals fabrication, inspection and testing, is competent to perform inspection of the work.” This is the minimum inspection qualification criteria in the structural welding code.
