Dears,
good day for every body

I have an issue with one thermocouple which material is SS316 joint leaking in steam header of power plant which material is SA335 p22 and DN 300mm and thickness of 48mm.

I want to know WPS for this job.

your wording is a little difficult to understand. You did not mention COC (code of construction) so you would need to know that. But it sounds like you want to know about a WPS to weld this connection. The answer is yes you would need a WPS, and by the content of your inquiry you don't have one. Next step is to qualify one. You would have to qualify one using stainless steel (316) to P22 material.

For a company to perform this repair by the codes in the US, they must be properly credentials AND have their own WPS.

Have a great day!
