Does anyone here have any experience welding 4130 heat treated to around 37 rockwell C. Filler material would be 100s,  GTAW. Material thickness of about 1" max. Grooves and fillets.
I've never heard of this being done before, but it's a big industry and lots of smart people out there doing really cool things.
