I heard it is now possible to WELD and cut without using plasma hole/shielding gases, just water to generate micro-plasma, cooling and protecting the welding pool for less than 2000 €. Did any of you hear the same ?. Any manofacturer ?. Thanks many.

I saw a little Plasma Gizmo at the welding expo 4 years ago that did thin (less than 0.125) metal cuts with a little torch thingie that plugged into 110 and had a little water poured in. The thing worked so efficently that they had carpet placed directly under the cut zone. I figured by now that these things would be all over the place but it just hasen't happened.

Never saw one weld.

I,ve seen myself a small torche, cutting a 6 mm. plate of Tungsten and welding aluminium of the same thickness, using just water. NO GAS ¡.

The problem is I have no idea from were this tool is comming, since I sow it during a yatch exhibition related to America´s Coup in Valencia (Spain), with no time to talk with the sales man.
