Dear Sirs,
I am looking for ASTM ZE41A rods.
It is a Mg alloy containing :
%Zn [3,5-5.0]
%RE [0.75-1.75]
%Zr [0.4-1.0]
%Mn [<0.15]
%CU [<0.10]
%Fe [0.01]
%Ni [0.01]
%Others [<0.30]
%Mg bal
Please help me to find a producer or a dealer.
Thank you
Paolo
Here is a filler metal chart
http://www.lawires.com/t-mag2.htm#3.1.2
The chart suggests you use EZ33 which is AMS 4396

Neither link provided information on distortion control, Preheat or post weld stress relief. These items may merit consideration however.
