Design a short sales letter & sales fax sheet. Send to all machinery builders, stamping companys, machine shops, general contractors and anybody else you can think of. Think of who you know now that works at a company where you may be able to get work, and ask that they go to bat for you.
Calling a company and trying to setup an appointment to meet. Also repetitiveness usually works to, calling, sending a letter, sending a fax, e-mail whatever just do it again and again.
Think production welding, custom fabrication, repair welding, railings and platforms etc... Do your homework, you may need to be certified, you may need to know any and all codes involved.
Put a business plan together on equipment needed. possible fields of work etc.
