They do work, the stones are fair. I would prefer the Pirahana 2 or 3 for a shop environment. I use chem sharp, and it does about as good but its alot harder on the tungsten life than grinding. The only advise is to get a pin vise at the same time so you can turn the tungsten slowly with a light pressure and good control.
