I'm looking for a Lincoln welder that is powered by a Ford flathead V-8. Not really sure of the model or specs, I saw one at an old tractor show once. Don't really have a need for it, just thought it would be an interesting restoration project to tinker with.
Would like to find one in the midwest.
Thanks
Jim

Finding a lincoln welder that ran off a flat v-8 would be like me finding a date for a for the prom. It would be easier and more fun to build your own.
I may have something, eastern pa.
tarp rotted, engine may or may not be good.
if interested, i'll dig this out ,see if engine stuck or not.
welder made by g.e., ford 21 stud flattie w/ magneto.
I have a Lincoln DC 250 AS powered by a V4 Wisconsin crank start. It runs and welds. It is all dusty but the owner claimed that it was never out in the rain. The rest of his eqippment looked like it was cared for. I bought it as part of a package and have no use for it.
I have had some suprising offers for the motor to use in old Bobcats. It's too nice to rip apart. Make me an offer.
I'm in north west Penna.
