Can someone give me guidance on specific flux core MIG wire to use on this material. Thickness will be not greater than 10ga sheet A-242.
I plan on building a small boat hull in this material.

Because some welding may be done with a shielding gas in my shop, what solid MIG wire can I use as well?

A242 Types 1 & 2 Structural Steel
SMAW 7018
GMAW 70S-3, 70S-6
FCAW 70T-1, 71T-1, 71T-8, 70C-3C, 70C-6M

I read some where that you shoun't use Corten for a boat hulls. Probaly was one of Bruce Roberts books. He has a web page, ask him. Regards Jim
