i would like to know the meanning of this term on visual inspection of overlap acceptance criteria. " NOT MORE THAN 2T IN ANY 6T LENGTH."

According to AWS D1.1, overlap is rejectable period. Overlap does not have an acceptance/rejection criteria.

My take on "NOT MORE THAN 2T IN ANY 6T LENGTH" is that it can't be any more than 2 times the thickness in any 6 times Thickness in length, for example if T = 3/4" then not more than 1 1/2" in any 4 1/2" of length.
