I have a few hundred tube joints that will need to be clened on the OD of the tube after welding. I'm limited on the amount of polishing i can do on some of the tie in joints. I've seen some diffrent paste type stuff that was applied to the joint and then removed and the color of the joint was perfect . Does anyone know what would work good ?

Dave, it sounds like you are referring to pickling paste, which will do exactly what you are wanting it to do. If you will e-mail me, I will tell you how to apply it, how to dispose of it, how to remove it, and where to purchase it depending on what part of the country you live it. I have also written a couple of technical documents regarding the importance of pickling SS in case you are interested. Thanks..
