I need to know if there is anyone who still makes heating gear like reliant or the old powercons. We need to post heat a valve up to 1250 f and then step it down from there. Our old power cons worked great but time took them from us. With reliant and power con out of business I need a complete system for heating or a power source that will use the same cables as the old reliant gear. Any help from anyone to point me in the right direction would be great.
Thanks.

If you are looking for a complete system one source is:
http://www.manningsusa.com/

They also make some rope heaters like you were mentioning.

Another possible source for a complete system would be:

Heres the problem. I should be more specific. We do have a complete heating system that works great its reliant however it is our last one and its much to heavy to carry into the space we need to get to without getting it rigged in and out. we need something semi portable like the old power cons there heavy but nothing compared to the alternative. I need for it to regulate its power to hold at temperature so something like useing a thermal couple would be fine, but its not necessary for it to record that would be more of a luxury. Thanks for the responses their more than what I've been able to find.

Have you considered induction heating systems? Here's a link to Miller's: http://millerwelds.com/products/induction_heating/ I'm sure there are others as well.

The Induction system from Miller is very portable, easy to use, no heavy pads to handle. Be sure to look at this. Can be rented through RediArc.

The Miller induction heating unit is the way to go if portability is the primary goal. Here's a link to the Red-D-Arc website if you want to rent one to try it out before buying:
