This machine has a Onan engine and 1900 hours. Would this be a good buy at 1800 dollars? What should I look for? I'm not a certified welder, just everyones nightmare. I don't hire myself out, just fix my own wrecks. I like to tinker with the toys (Hobart 145 and Millermatic 250) I have in the shop. But this machine will let me go beyond the Overhead door and into the fields. If I get enough favorable advise I'll show my wife.......beg.....grovel......maybe fold the laundry......help me out here guys.

A man with a plan

My welding distributor has a brand new Bobcat 225 for $3500. Just the machine no trailer. We had a recent ice storm and these machines were generating 240 volts for the houses 24/7 just shutting down to refuel. No failures according to the distributor. I have a Trailblazer 280 with the OHV Onan engine with over 4000 hours and it uses maybe a half pint of oil between oil changes of 100 hours.

about 12 hours at full output. some used them sparingly to get 24 hours by running & stopping.
