I have an Idealarc DC250 welder that I bought at an auction that doesn't work. The local welder shop said the pc board was bad. Do you guys think it is worth 700 bucks to fix it?What would cause it to go bad?I hate to fix it and then go bad again. Also I will need a wire feeder for it.I see wire feeders that take 110volt and 24 volts to operate, what does my dc 250 put out?can I buy a miller feeder?thanx

Miller's 2006 catalogue shows a R-115 feeder that would work on the Lincoln. I would imagine the price would be like any feeder, between 1000 & 1500 USD. Any voltage sensing feeder should work also. PC boards fail, just because they can! Just ask the repair center what the history is on that board's failure rate. If it has a history of being problematic stay away from repairing it.

They can fix most p.c. boards, usually alot cheaper than new.
