Text length limitation for replies

Dear Fellows!

First of all a happy new year to all of you!

I am coming from Germany and today it is the first time I attend to this great forum. I have tried to post a reply on a very interesting topic regarding "calculation of heat input".

When I have tried to post my reply, I received an error message for I had transgressed the text length limitation!

Can anyone help me please and advise what I can do to extend the text length limit or whatever I have to do for posting my message?

OK, I increased the limit from 16,000 characters to 30,000. Must be a long post.
