wow

I play guitar, bass, do vocals, and very weak  drums.  I have played in bands for over 15 yrs as music is my first love.  Welding paid the real life bills.  I have went thru (bought and sold) so many instruments its ridiculous ( some guitars worth over 5 grand).  I currently own an esp ec 1000 (all I could really afford), a pretty nice guitar. I just plink around nowadays  trying to resit the temptation to go play gigs for "gas money".  I hope to invest in some comp recording equip and software and just "noodle" at home ( thats really all i ever wanted to do was just write anyway).

I got the bad habit of internet gaming so building and hotrodding computers become a nesscessity as well.   Consequently I taught myself web design and serveral programming launguages as a matter of course.  I even fed my family on programming for about 2.5 years without ever setting foot in a colledge for it.   I got so burnt out on writing code that I loathe it now...it use to be fun.

Motorcycling has been a life long hobby and I will enjoy it whether i am riding or not/.

One more thing...photobucket has a file size limit..if the pic is too large you will need to reduce the file size.
You can do that a couple of ways...
Change the file size in your camera.
Use resizing software on your computer...I use this (cuz it is free) http://www.irfanview.com/

You open the pic to be resized with this software and under "Image" you choose to resize, and pick the size you need it to become and save as a smaller file. ie. 800 x 600dpi is near about perfect for most monitors, so folks can view the entire pic without scrolling or squinting....

OK, now you don't need Photobucket. Make your post, then go back to the topic to look at it. Under the posting, where you see "edit" you will also see "attach." Then you can pick a picture from your hard drive and upload it. Choose "embed" so it shows up in your post.

That will help ross. Is there a limit to the size files that you can attach?

Not now. If people start loading big files, there is a way the server can reduce their resolution and show thumbnails.
If forum users don't like the inline images (they might be slow on dial-up), they can disable the display of inline images via their account options.

the "Option to dis-able the display of images" is a great feature for those on dial-up....I'm on dial-up at home, so I can relate.
