Miller Bobacat 225D Plus .....feeling it out.

I'm probably getting rid of my Miller Bobcat 225D Plus. It has ther Deutz Ruggeroni diesel motor with about 1765 hours on it. New paint job and all. Just curious at what I might get for it. Obviously itwas about $5000 new but just curious. It's a 99 or 2000 model. Dave

Make an offer. was thinking around $2100 o/bo. I have about 50 ft of leads to go with it and a brand new changeable jaw 300 amp Jackson electrode holder. Fresh paint and sticker kit and fresh tuneup. Was gone through by one of the mechanics at my work. It's in central Jersey. Dave

Hello, I am looking at getting a Bobcat 225D. I had an old Miller bobcat but i couldn't use the generator and the welder at the same time. I was wondering if you could use the generator and the welder at the same time with a 225D?

One more question. The Miller Bobcat 225D that I'm looking at says that it can be used for mig; so what attachment do you need to make it work for as a mig welder. Also how well does it weld and how good of an engine is the Deutz. Thanks, Ross

Deutz is a fine engine. Don't use ether starting fluid, you'll stretch the head bolts. Not hard to fix that but still annoying.

Sorry for the late reply. I just got back from Europe. Anyways, the welder is located in central Jersey. I am looking at getting like $1800 o/bo. Call me at 908-727-3447. It should be ready for pickup sometime this week. Dave
