Hey,
That thing looks cool.
Could you post the name of the company who make that gizmo?
Yea, it does look pretty cool...thats the first time I have seen one.
Another case of the old.."you learn something new every day!"
Even if it doesn't work well, It will look good in my toolbag !
My dad always liked to tell me..."money spent on tools is never waisted".
I only spent $13.99 on mine. What a waste. I could have had a really good breakfast with that money! I was able to use the Battery in another Caliper, so all was not lost.
It looks interesting, but it looks a little large to get into tight corners and/or joints with members that are not perpendicular to each other.

Well, I did get to support another ebay seller ! :) It will be good for inspecting the tig welds I made wearing my $50.00 electronic welding hood using the $134.00 DC CC machine . All from Harbour freight.
Since I can't look at Ebay at work, What company makes these so I can find them? Thanks, Henry

Thanks! Now I kinda want one. Henry
I got mine today. I think I will be able to find some uses for it.
aisc requires us to cal. our fillet weld gauges yearly or buy new ones. doese anyone that has one think one of these gauges could be used for this application
These will ONLY measure throat thickness. I think these were NOT originally designed for weld inspection. I am thinking more along the lines of thread inspection. I may be wrong.
