I have read threads on the web that the Millermatic 250 series were poor. I am about to purchase a MIG 250 as to what brand I am unsure.
I understand the Blue vs. Red thing. I noted in my research that the Miller 251 was born due to the faults of the 250 and 250X. Has the
251 corrected those faults? I am a newbie and am upgrading to a larger MIG, that said I, am not so sure I fully understand the faults associated with the 250 and 250X. Of my 3 choices, ESAB Migmaster 250, Millermatic 251 or the Lincoln 255, I had chosen the Miller. Now I am questioning the Miller. It was noted that the Miller 251 arc is not as soft as the Miller 210. I am not trying to start a Blue vs. Red thing...just would like to know if the Miller 251 has solved the issues with the previous models. I also do not know much about the ESAB but there were favorable comments.
Thanks
Joe
