LOL.. I understand, Jon. What's bad is when I start spelling in this thick Texas accent. Then, I can't even read it...

If you ask a Texan to spell Rat and he says R A T then you know he is probably not a true Texan, Tell him you meant like in "rat now".

My wife and I were watching the discovery channel the other day about wooly mammoths. When the program was over, my wife turned to me and asked in a dead serious tone, " where can we go to see those big things? Are there any zoos big enough to hold them?"

She graduated with a 4.0 average, I dropped out of highschool........

Hey Sourdough, that's a humdinger alright. But you better hope she doesn't look over your shoulder while you're posting on here, you might end up with a knot or two on the old noggen. In all unseriousness though, when I met my wife she had a younger sister who was real close to not graduating, so she jumped in and decided to help her out. In the process and during some homework for history, she looked at me totally seriously and said, "I didn't know that there was a war between the states". I still give her a hard time about that one. Regards, Allan

She's Italian and Chippawa(sp?), so there are times when I want to crawl in a hole, BUT she has a wonderful sense of humor! She mostly laughs when I fall down and go boom...

She actually was looking over my shoulder.....we had a good laugh about it all over again!

Uggghhh   I am Texas raised and bred but transplanted in Awkansaw.   Im screwed as far as spelling goes...hooked on phonics for me might as well be hooked on crack.  LOL

I got that tej"as drawl but now I put wut sounds like an over abundance of vowels in my words as well.....somone from illinois cant really under stand me too well but they love to listen to me tawlk.  oh welll at least I still know what REAL BBQ is.  Guys they put cole slaw on bbq sandwhiches up here.....that is just like WRONG!

Have a Canuck Friend in Ontario that loved my accent so much he had me do voice overs on his shop demo videos......that was funny as heck cause he told me they pay attention because they like to listen to your voice.  To him its kinda like how americans are with english accents.   Omg  thats so messed up.
