Most of the fellows have a quick disconnect for their whip and their ground, giving them the ability to add more lead if necessary.

The leads bolt on to the reels on the other end.

are the spools insulated so your welding bed isnt "hot" or "live"

we normally fabricate these so the bed is hot. Never had a problem with it!
By doing this you may work off the back of the truck with a short 20-25' whip while at the same time your leads may be strung out to another location.

HOWEVER, if you prefer the truck bed not to be hot, this is no problem either. We can fab them either way!
