i am using a syncrowave 200 and i am trying to weld .064 wall 6061 aluminum tube. the joint is a fishmouthed piece being welded at 90degrees to a longer length of tube both the same wall thickness. No pulse on, 4043 wire 1/16, 1/16 pure tung., foot control around 60-70 amps, and 17cfm on the argon. The problem is the puddle falls out and the and it is tough to get the puddle to be on both pieces of tube, thats not to say it is erratic it is just tough to get the arc so that the puddle form the "fillet" and by the time you do it is ready to burn through.??
