Okay, based on one of the other threads in here, I sent a rather off color <private> joke to one of our moderators...

Well, kharma has come around to bite me in the rear end (hard)...

This past Friday, my wife and I were having a few drinks with some friends when the topic came up of her mother catching me snoozing on the sofa some 2 years ago and brushing some "root conditioner" into my hair, turning my salt and pepper colored hair dark again... yeah, it looked pretty okay.

I made the mistake of saying I really didn't mind that too much... soooooo, while we were grocery shopping my wife said she would pick up some stuff to do it again.  Obviously it wasn't the right stuff as I ended up with a streaked blonde mess!!!  She then tried some other stuff which turned it to a Strom Thrumond orange!!!  At this point I was thinking okay, either I shave my head or get something to turn it dark again...

She went out and got the darkest brown she could find... yep, it got rid of the orange but now I look like I've got a very bad toupee on!!!  It ain't nice to fool with Mother Nature and it ain't nice teasing our moderator!!!  Supposedly it's only 6 weeks until my hair comes back to "natural".... Erghhhhhhh!!!!

Ahhh, I figured what the heck... humour is usually at someone elses expense.... but if we can't laugh at ourselves once in a while then we're taking life too seriously... haven't ever shaved my head, it's got too many bumps and would likely be even less attractive than my current "do."

It's not like we would be laughing at you we would be laughing with you. Besides my wife is a hair dresser maybe I could get her to suggest a solution to your problem. For a small fee ofcourse .

Nice ride Bob, my first car was a 1965 Olds 442 equipped with a big block. Not very practical at today's gas prices, but nontheless a joy to have owned. Can't beat the feel of the ride of a car such as yours. Enjoy and regards, Allan

I just put an Edelbrock Performer manifold and 4 bbl. carb on it - now I get 9 mpg.  But I don't think of it as gas expenses, more like entertainment expenses.
