I've found the Miller Digi-Meter to be as nice as any. Digital, robust, and will hold an average of the first several readings (so you can set your own parameters) or give real time readout. A bit pricey....but an excellent unit.
I use a fluke meter. Again a bit pricey $425.00 cdn , but does it all.
Fluke with the digital display & hold function and the clamp on amp meter.
ExTech makes a good digital unit with a data-logger attachment. It costs in the $700.00 range.
I've got one from Radio Shack, digital, about 50 bucks if I remember right, does what I ask it to. I envy you guys who can afford Fluke.

I am using a BK Precision, a little pricy, but very accurate and easy to use.
