I am trying to get an idea of what the going rate is for contract welders with their own rigs and tools.  Just trying to see what these guys are getting for hourly wages and perdium. I don't know if this is allright to ask in here, but how do you go about finding these guys also. Thanks  Kix.

What area of the country are you looking to rig in?  Are you looking at a specific trade (i.e. pipe, structural, earth moving), or just portable service in general?

my buddy is in New Orleans,,,,,,,,rig welder,,,,,,,structural,,,,,,,,,$90.00 hour,,,,,,,$100.00 a day per diem............
