I am in the processs of fixing/restoring a sa200 !957 short hood.
I picked up a spare parts machine a red face   1965 .
My question is the older welder has 3  range positions and the newer one has 4
looks like two of the legs on older unit are paired and on newer machine they split.
is there an advantage to the one or the other?
The old guy runs and weld great I am a hobby welder and heard the sa 200
was a great welder..
I have found several engine part places in my searches if any one is interested..
