So i'm working with A-36,A-60,A-514(t-1),A-572,ex-ten-50(whatever that is),and A-1018CRS. Maximum thicknessis 1 1/2" minimum thickness is 1/8".
These all get welded together in different combinations for example(A-36 TO A-514(T-1)) A-514(t-1)to A-572, A-514(T-1) TO A-1018CRS all with a MIG wire that takes it out of the Prequalified catigory. So what table do i need to be looking to figure out the test i need to qualify these procedures for fillet and groove welds? If i do a groove weld test in the 2g with backing wiLL that qualify my fillets up to 2f and anything up to 2g? I know i need 3/4 plate to quaily up to 1 1/2", but what table are the test coupon dimensions in? Where are the group #'s listed for the different steels? Thanks for any help that you can give on this matter
Kix..
