I am attending a tech school and will be graduating with my associates degree in welding technology with a focus on pipe welding. I am getting a good education but i am still unsure as how to proceed once i am finished.  I would love some advice if anybody has got it.  thanks

Welcome to the forum!

What do you want to do?

You could land on your feet with an entry level job in any city in the U.S. with what you have right now.

Steamfitter/Boilermaker apprenticeships pay well, have great benefits and are always looking for qualified non-traditional applicants. This kind of apprenticeship may require some regional travel, some folks really enjoy that part.

You have been working with a group of instructors for nearly two years now... What do they advise?  They know your strengths and the market locally (if you care to stay local)

Focus on Pipe welding
Tell us what kind of pipe welding you are best at and enjoy most. What processes, positions, materials do you do best with?   Do you enjoy fitting and are you good at it?   Answer those questions and you will get a bunch of responses and good advice from the best pros around.
